This cafe is a hidden gem! We’ve walked and biked in Nose Hill quite a bit, but had never been into Haven House before this week. We tried their famous Haven-ahh latte, a Montreal smoked meat sandwich, grilled jalapeno cheddar spolumbo sausage (add the marinara!) and chicken Thai soup. All were super tasty, and would definitely order again! The cafe is also really cozy, with a small couch and different seating options. We visited during the holiday season and their Christmas decorations were awesome! There’s a small artisan market in the back, which is neat. Plus they even have some kids toys if you want to entertain your little ones. Great staff, fast service and love the location right by Nose Hill Egert’s Park. Already recommended this place to some friends who live nearby and we’ll definitely be back!

THIS is where you want to go!! As the owner of a high-volume, craft coffee shop in Texas, I have an extra measure of authority to say that Haven House Cafe is absolutely TOP Notch everything they do!!! The food and drink were amazing, but the service was professional, friendly, and just the perfect welcoming environment! I had my 4 kids with me, and they were able to play in the little kids area while I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast. Lan is amazing, and we need to support hard-working small business owners who have perfected their craft... she and her beautiful coffee shop are it!! Go see her and tell your friends!

Awesome coffee shop! It was on my to do list for a bike to and grab a coffee destination and it didn’t disappoint! My cycling companion also enjoyed it. Had a latte and a Jamaican patty. Excellent! The shop has a lot of cool retro stuff to look at and arts and crafts items also. Music wasn’t blaring so it was very chill and relaxing. Staff were super friendly and even filled our water bottles up when we were on our way. Highly recommend and will be back to try out other items on the menu.

Such a homey cafe with vintage decor and cozy seating! We're so glad we found it. Cheap drinks and absolutely delicious and flavourful. They were busy when we walked in, but we still felt taken care of. They even gave us a free biscoff cookie. Highly highly suggest the Spanish latte; very good cappuccinos too! They sell some paintings, crochet toys, cards, and self care things too. They also have a cute kids corner that my neices enjoyed so much.

Came here for an early dinner. Philly cheesesteak was great, chicken noodle soup was too. Good lattes. Atmosphere is great and the owner is the friendliest person ever. Very kid friendly, they sterilize toys each day. Very eclectic and cute inside. Highly recommend a drop in for coffee or meals.

Stopped in to try their YYC Hot Chocolate submission, and it did not disappoint! Very unique flavor, best way I can describe it, is that it tastes like Banana Chips!! Super fun idea! The atmosphere is so cozy, with many yummy looking baked goods and plenty of seating. I would definitely love to come back and try some of their food, I love how they're just a short walk away!

We are always up for trying local coffee shops, so stopped here for a quick cappuccino. I was pleasantly surprised how warm and inviting the place was, that's before the owners started up a conversation. They are such amazing people, who actually care for everyone that stops by their coffee shop. All the stuff we tried were delicious. Stop by the Haven House Cafe to check out this hidden gem.

We hit up this cafe on our first visit for Hot Chocolate Fest. We came for the cool concept of freeze dried bananas, but we’ll definitely be back for the incredibly kind and welcoming owners, comfortable atmosphere, yummy drinks, and cute little artisan market! This is one of the coziest cafes I’ve ever been to, and despite us living in such a big city, I could feel the small town everyone knows everyone vibes. The owner even went out of her way to come chat with us about the story of their hot chocolate entry (ask about it, it’ll warm your heart!). Thanks for the wonderful experience!
